Taylor approached me during a pivotal shift in his business. With a new name, Tailored Marketing, he needed a visual identity that felt more refined, strategic, and future-focused. The previous brand lacked cohesion and didn’t reflect the level of professionalism and structure he brings to his clients.

My role was to reposition the brand visually, creating a system that felt confident, modern, and timeless while still maintaining approachability.

The Challenge

The existing brand was recognizable but heavily focused on Taylor’s avatar. As the company evolved and transitioned to Tailored Marketing, it became important for the identity to feel less personality-driven and more company-focused.

The refresh needed to:

  • Shift emphasis from the individual to the company

  • Introduce bolder, more confident color

  • Establish stronger typographic hierarchy

  • Create a flexible logo system that could scale across platforms

  • Communicate structure, strategy, and professionalism at a higher level

The Approach

With the shift in direction clearly defined, I focused on building a brand system that balanced structure with personality while positioning Tailored Marketing as a strategic, scalable company.

The approach included:

  • Developing a refined wordmark that feels clean, deliberate, and professional

  • Introducing an expressive display type within the logo to maintain memorability and warmth

  • Creating a flexible logo system including a primary mark, submark, and avatar variations

  • Establishing a stronger, more confident color palette to increase visual impact

  • Defining a clear typography system using Inter for consistency across digital and print applications

  • Ensuring the identity could scale seamlessly across web, social, presentations, and apparel

The result is a cohesive identity that maintains a human presence while communicating strategy, structure, and confidence..

The Outcome

The new identity positions Tailored Marketing as a strategic, credible partner rather than a solo freelancer brand. The system now supports web, social, apparel, presentations, and marketing materials with consistency and clarity.
